Wade Bowers

Responsible for sourcing, managing, monitoring and evaluation; developing the investment policy statement; working with external portfolio managers, analysts, and investors.

In 1981, at the young age of 19, Wade started in banking as a figure clerk on Wall Street with the then third largest investment bank in the world, Morgan Guarantee and Trust Co., now J.P. Morgan Chase.

His entrepreneurial inclinations and passion for public service, in the United States Air Force and the United Nations, has since taken him around the world engaging various sectors in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America before returning to his first love, Private Equity investing.

Wade established BlaQuid Holdings, LLC in 2017, investing in art, energy, equities, minerals, real estate, and wine.

Carmen Filipe-Bowers

Chief Executive Officer, Blaquid Consultant (Relocation Services)

Carmen established Blaquid Consultant in Geneva, Switzerland in 2013, serving both the public and private sectors. In 2018 she took the company virtual, using cutting edge Information and Communication Technology and is currently based in the US and Mozambique.

She is also the CEO of Bowers Private Partnership LDA, Import & Export, in Mozambique, Founder of the non-profit organization, One Child At A Time, and obtained her internationally recognized Life Coach certification from the world renowned Creative Results Management.

Carmen is a former United Nations (UN) Civil Servant with the UN Economic Commission for Europe and the UN Human Settlements Programme, (UN-Habitat). She is currently a UN business partner via the UN Global Marketplace, a member of the Organization of Women in International Trade, and the International Virtual Assistants Association.
